I wanted to write a poem called "Obscene," And make it worthy of the name. I thought it should overflow with bad words Naughty words you aren't supposed to say where your mom can hear you. The words you whispered in church to see of lighting would strike Or a fiery pit would open beneath your feet. The kind of words that your third grade teacher gave you a time-out for, And your sixth grade teacher sent you to the principle's office To sit on a wooden bench before he called your parents.
